We are delighted to invite ISESC 2026 symposium participants to an exclusive, interactive technical visit to the E&M InnoZone located at the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) Headquarters in Kowloon Bay.

As one of the Innovation Facilitators for the Hong Kong SAR Government, the EMSD has created the E&M InnoZone as a premier platform to showcase real-world Innovation and Technology (I&T) collaborations with local universities and research institutes. This technical visit provides a rare, hands-on look into the smart technologies shaping Hong Kong's future infrastructure.

Key Highlights of the Visit

Participants will explore over 20 interactive exhibits and cutting-edge projects spanning multiple engineering and technology disciplines:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications: See real-world deployment of advanced systems, such as AI inspection of rope conditions for lift  and smart asset diagnostics.
• Internet of Things (IoT) & Automation: Learn how IoT sensors and building automation streamline energy and equipment systems across government buildings.
• Energy Efficiency & Green Tech: Discover groundbreaking energy saving solutions and environmental systems engineered to achieve carbon neutrality.
• Digital Infrastructure & Modelling: Review practical implementations of Building Information Modelling (BIM-AM) and geographic tracking systems in maintenance operations.

Event Information & Logistics

• Date: Wednesday, December 9, 2026
• Time: 9:45 AM – 12:15 PM HKT
• Venue: EMSD Headquarters Building, 3 Target Street, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon.
• Capacity: Strictly limited to 30 seats. Due to venue regulations and coach seating limits, registration will operate strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Transportation: Complimentary round-trip coach transport will be provided by the symposium. The coach will pick up participants directly from the main ISESC symposium venue and return to the venue immediately following the visit.

Schedule of the Day

• 9:30  AM – 9:45 AM: Assembly at the ISESC Symposium Venue Main Lobby
• 9:45  AM: Coach departure to EMSD Headquarters
• 10:30 AM: Arrival & Guided InnoTour of the E&M InnoZone
• 11:30 AM: Group photo & Boarding the return coach
• 12:15 PM: Arrival back at the main symposium venue
